Incremental rule updates?

[ Edited ]

Is it possible to incrementally payday loans online add rules to (and delete rules from) a running rule server? Or must one always do a full server reset to pickup rule changes?

Re: Incremental rule updates?

you can use the deployment manager (dmanager). you can set an interval time that it'll check for changes and pick them up. There's probably several different ways people are using it.

i'd be curious to hear how other people are promoting there rules.

Yes, spar is right. You can use the Deployment Manager to manage updates to rule projects in an event driven manner. The DM gives you a lot of flexibility as to how you get your rules into production, and allows Blaze to support both "push" and "pull" deployment (that is to say, it can work in a mode that doesn't rely on an explicit "deployment" action).

Re: Incremental rule updates?

Hi,

Like the other say, you can use a deployment manager to automatically (or on a signal from you) reset your running rule server without interruption, but to answer your question: All the content in your rules service is reloaded when the deployment manager kicks in.
